After campaigning, Richard said:
"Your local Conservatives are building back with a great leader in Kemi Badenoch.
And I’m out on the ground with your local Conservative team working for people across Basildon and Billericay.
I also head out with my team campaigning to change our country for the better. If you want to help us on the ground message me via www.richardholden.org.uk/contact
Your local Conservatives also love a get together. Join us us: www.conservatives.com/join
Unlike others - who seem to obsess over scrapping on social media - Basildon Borough Conservatives are working together for the community and the whole party is united at national and local level.
Plus we have a comprehensive and fully costed plan to slash the deficit and get Government borrowing - which is just deferred taxes plus interest - under control, as well as cutting taxes, including:
1. Abolishing stamp duty for family homes
2. Abolishing business rates for all retail, hospitality and leisure businesses with a rateable value of under £110,000
3. Restoring business property relief and agricultural property relief so people will create small businesses and invest for the future in the UK
