Richard visited Spa Cottage in Billericay recently.
Speaking after the visit, Richard said:
"I went round to see Ruth and the team behind Spa Cottage in Billericay as they celebrated 22 years of the business – alongside their many awards and achievements.
The first impression, which Ruth is very proud of, is their unique lemongrass based scent when you walk in - it genuinely is so calming.
The cottage itself is a beautiful building and it is such a great idea to have a spa there. I’ve been passed so many times and never knew it was there, and I am so grateful I do now!
Ruth was fantastic and I learned a lot more about her commitment to the local community, especially through her endeavours with the local Church.
With how tough it is to run a small business now, with extra pressures being added, it’s so important that we all come together to support them through these struggles. And if that means having to spend some time in a really lovely spa, I think I can personally suffer to help!
