Richard has celebrated the success of his Older Persons' Fairs held in Billericay and Laindon.
Speaking after the events, Richard said:
"In the last few weeks, I’ve hosted my inaugural annual Older Persons’ Fairs at the Chantry Centre in Billericay and at the Community centre in Laindon. With around 20 organisations at each providing expert and useful information, contacts and advice they have been very positive.
They a big success with loads of local people turning up to each one, and I’m eternally grateful for each organisation for taking the time to run a stand. Next years will be even bigger and better, and my team and I are taking on the feedback from attendees and the organisation. If you have any comments on how to improve, then please comment them below!
I’m especially grateful to: Essex Wellbeing Service, Department for Work and Pensions, Essex County Council, Basildon Borough Council, Billericay Town Council, UK Power Networks, Citizens Advice Braintree & South Essex, Carers First Essex, Kinder Essex, Right at Home, Medequip, Homelium Care, Caremark, Billericay Lions, Sanctuary Housing, Basildon Community Transport Services, Cash Access UK, Healthwatch Essex, Home Instead, Human Kind Cafe, Billericay Dementia Friendly Community, Billericay Men's Shed, Essex Home Help Service, Billericay Food Bank, Specsavers.
