Richard visited the open gardens event in Little Burstead over the weekend.
Speaking after the visit, Richard said:
"I had a truly wonderful time yesterday in Little Burstead for their Blooms'N'Barbie event, and I’m very glad to see so many people, especially James and Benjamin who’d invited me along to to 1 Brook Cottage to see all the wonderful work they’ve done!
So many homeowners in the village have put an enormous effort into making their gardens such a welcoming and tranquil space, the true essence of community spirit. Sadly, I wasn’t able to stay for the BBQ but I thoroughly enjoyed popping down to Little Burstead yesterday and will be back again very soon.
