Richard Holden, MP for North West Durham, was contacted by a group of constituents who were concerned about speeding in Castleside, especially on the A68 and also on Drover Road.
Richard wrote to Durham County Council, who are responsible for Highway Management locally, and alerted County Hall in Durham City to the concerns of people in Cornsay Colliery. Richard has also met with residents to discuss their concerns and what steps they would like to see taken to ensure road safety.
Richard is now working with community activists Mike McGaun and Doug Oliver on the issue. Please complete the below survey to give your views.
