This week, schools across the country are taking part in Parliament Week. Richard Holden MP was invited to visit to Shotley Bridge Primary School as part of this and hear from the children about what they'd been learning about.
Richard took questions from years 3, 4 and 5 and also spoke to the Pupil MPs group about what they're doing in school.
Richard said:
"It was great to visit the juniors at Shotley Bridge Primary School as part of their look at Parliament Week and especially to see so many children really involved and wanting to ask questions.
"Being invited down to see them all was fantastic, I'd like to thank the school for inviting me down and I really look forward to hopefully popping back again soon to meet the infants soon!"
