Richard joined Air Ambulance UK for their Annual reception in Parliament.

''You’ll know about our Air Ambulances so it was great to join Air Ambulance UK at their annual reception this week in Parliament, where I met with the team from Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, as well as the inspiring CPR Smart Champions. We had some excellent discussions about the importance of CPR Smart training in schools, which equips our young people with invaluable, life-saving skills.
We also discussed the essential, round-the-clock work carried out by the UK’s air ambulance charities, alongside the launch of the new APPG report: “Critical Moments, Life-Saving Infrastructure”. The report highlights the vital need for safeguarded, 24/7 on-site helipads at Major Trauma Centres and specialist hospitals to ensure patients get the critical care they need without delay.
