Richard recently attended the 35th birthday party for St Luke's Hospice.
Speaking after the event, Richard said:
"I popped over to St. Luke's Hospice, Basildon for their 35th anniversary Basildon Garden Party.
It’s amazing how they have progressed over the last three and a half decades, and it was lovely to hear some of the stories of their journey from the Chair of Trustees, Gerry.
Alongside that, they had a fantastic event with lots of fun for the whole family, so of course I had to get my photo with one of the adorable little ponies in the petting zoo!
Here’s to the next 35 years of St Luke’s and the fantastic and dedicated staff that work round the clock to provide top notch care for its residents.
A huge thanks to all the volunteers and fundraisers, as well as the staff, who keep St Luke’s going day-in day-out."
