"I’m sure many of you, especially on the commuter train, have seen a Brompton Bike as you go about your journey. I’ve seen plenty of the foldable ones in the morning rush. Well, Brompton have this amazing scheme where you can rent a bike at a train station in to get about."

"Naturally, it won’t be for everybody, but it might just help some people get back on the bike. And you never forget how to ride a bike as I found out recently… more on that later."

"I’ll explore with the relevant authorities about bringing this scheme to our doorsteps - potentially in Billericay, Laindon and Basildon. The conversations start now!"
