Richard attended an event in support of organ donation recently.
Speaking after the event, Richard said:
"I was proud to attend an important event in Parliament recently to show my support for organ donation – a cause that truly saves lives.
Every day, people across the UK are given a second chance at life thanks to the generosity of donors and their families. I met with campaigners, healthcare professionals, and those whose lives have been transformed by transplants to hear their stories and learn more about how we can encourage more people to have conversations about organ donation.
It’s vital we raise awareness and ensure that everyone understands how they can make a difference. A single donor can save or improve up to nine lives – that’s the real power of this incredible gift.
