Richard visited Baby Basics recently.
Speaking after the visit, Richard said:
"I had a really fantastic time meeting Jane and the volunteer team at the Baby Basics Hub in Billericay.
They do such important work with helping vulnerable people with young babies and each person volunteers a lot of their own time just to help. I couldn’t believe how many items they had – showing the clear generosity of people from Billericay and the surrounding area too. Their Moses Baskets are a lifeline to people in a vulnerable situation with a newborn baby; without Baby Basics, these people and baby would be in such a dire position.
I am also very proud to have heard how the community came together, after the fire, to ensure Baby Basics can keep on running. What a community we have!
