Richard met with Help for Heroes in Parliament recently.
Following his meeting with the charity, he said:
"It was a privilege to recently attend the launch of Help for Heroes People's Promise to Veterans in Parliament.
Our Armed Forces personnel make extraordinary sacrifices to keep our country safe. When their service ends, our duty to them doesn't. Every veteran should have access to the healthcare, financial security and consistent support they deserve, wherever they live.
Thank you to everyone at Help for Heroes for the vital work you do supporting veterans and championing the changes needed to ensure no one who has served our country is left behind. I'll continue to back our veterans and support efforts to strengthen the support available to them."
