Lambing Season in Brotherlee, Weardale with Richard Holden MP
Richard had a wonderful afternoon with the Wall family especially George, Oliver, Christine and Rebecca - meeting some of their new arrivals - including Gwen who is very keen on a bit of bottle feeding!
It was really nice to see some veterinary students up from University of Cambridge too on a two-week placement as part of their course taking a real interest in farming.
As lambing season hits full tilt across Weardale and North West Durham as a whole do enjoy seeing the newborns out and about in the fields but be extra vigilant when you’re walking, especially with dogs.
