Last week was National Coach Week and to celebrate Richard popped by Stanley Travel in Annfield Plain to see how the coach service there is getting on.
Coaches play a vital role both to public transport, the environment and the economy. Travel by coach is cost-effective for passengers and take cars off our packed roads.
The Scott’s are the third-generation of this family business, operating in Stanley since 1962, providing good customer service and getting people around County Durham and beyond for over 60 years.
Commenting, Richard Holden MP said:
Coaches have had a tough time since the pandemic, so it’s great to see a fantastic local, family business bounce back so strongly and thrive. Hopefully, they’ll continue to serve the good people of County Durham for at least three more generations of Scotts! Thanks so much to Ian and Andrew for having me down.
