In Parliament, I went to chat with the Alzheimer's Society for Dementia Action Week. Not only did my nan sadly pass away with dementia, but loads of constituents got in touch with me about this important week. I was more than happy to speak with those campaigning for better research for Dementia.
Dementia affects millions of individuals and many more of their loved ones across the UK. Tragically, many are facing dementia alone, without access to the vital support that a diagnosis can bring.
If you're worried about your memory, or think you may have dementia, please see your GP for a check up. Go to https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/dementia/diagnosis/ to find out more. An early diagnosis always makes a huge difference.
