So great to pop by Frosterley Primary school. Thanks so much for Ms Carr for bringing me along to see the lovely school and meet some of her brilliant pupils & staff.
Frosterley is a small school, with only 39 pupils across all year groups, rather like mine growing up which had only two classes. The kids and the staff are so close, it is a lovely friendly environment to be in.
As well as the tour of the school - from the charming school council - I had a look around the brand new playground which was funded by Believe Housing.
I also had to face a Q&A some of the students, which was really interesting. They asked a huge range of questions from Government policy, to how you become an MP, to what my favourite sandwich is, I really had to be on my brief!
It’s such an important element of democracy that young people have the chance to meet their local MP. If you want me to visit your child’s school please get in touch via https://www.richardholden.org.uk/contact and I will do all I can to be there.
