It’s been in business for over two decades now, winning numerous prestigious awards for its cutting-edge work in carbon negative renewables. They make environmentally friendly fuel briquettes whilst removing more carbon from the atmosphere than they emit.
While it is only a small property at the moment, other businesses look to this state-of-the-art factory as an example of how it’s done properly. They have managed to combine both economic success with a positive contribution to the environment.
It is fantastic that we have this great initiative right here in North West Durham, it creates loads of high-skill, high-wage, cutting edge engineering jobs right here in our area. In the years to come, more businesses will need to learn from their example.
