Richard Holden MP Quizzes the Prime Minister in Parliament Following the Update on Sue Gray Report
Richard told the Prime Minister how appalled he had been, alongside many of his constituents, at the reports of events at Downing Street. Like many of you, Richard had to bury relatives who died in very restrictive circumstances and was unable to see family, including in care homes.
Four events reported have been dismissed but a number are now being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Service and in Parliament Richard demanded the Prime Minister:
1.) Implement the recommendations of Sue Gray’s update ASAP and keep the UK House of Commons updated as to the progress of this
2.) Ensure that everyone in Downing Street co-operate fully with the police investigation. If people need to be fined/sacked/resign when these police investigations conclude then that should happen without further delay

Richard: "As the police do their work there are also major issues at home and abroad that need to be dealt with: from Ukraine/Russia to getting our NHS backlog from Covid down and I’ll continue to campaign, like I have from the day I was elected, for everyone in North West Durham and hold the Government to account for getting investment into our towns and villages."
