Richard Holden, MP for North West Durham, has been contacted by a group of constituents concerned about dangerous driving in Burnhope. People are particularly concerned about the junction next to Burnhope Wheel and the area around Burnhope Primary School.
Richard Holden, MP for North West Durham, is working with The Auckland Project and other local stakeholders to put forward a bid to look at re-opening the Weardale line with a branch spur to Crook via Howden-le-Wear too as a passenger service.
Shortly after he was elected, Richard was contacted by a group of constituents who were concerned about speeding in Cornsay Colliery. Speeding vehicles are making the roads dangerous for pedestrians and upsetting the otherwise calm environment of the village.
