I'm Richard Holden, Member of Parliament for Basildon and Billericay & Shadow Secretary of State for Transport. Richard's Older Person's Fairs
What’s it all about? Well, think of a University Freshers Fair for those approaching retirement of those of retirement age. There will be loads of community groups, local charities and organisations that people may wish to get involved in and provide advice for people in this age group!
Join us on:
Friday 4 September, from 11am until 1pm, at the Chantry Centre in Billericay
OR
Friday 11 September, from 1pm until 3pm, at the Community Centre in Laindon
There’s plenty of organisations that have expert staff and information to help advise you on anything relevant to someone older. Whether it’s yourself, a friend, or a family member, it’s all useful info so do pop along.
My team and I will be putting on teas and coffees whilst you’re there. It’s a popular event full of very friendly people, so stop by – you never know what you might find!
