My two weeks of summer surgery tour has been fantastic, with a brilliant final day to cap things off. I went to over 50 stops, covering every town and village in every corner of North West Durham and meeting hundreds of people from every walk of life.

Today is international women’s day. 

Last year we passed the law and it kicks in today. From now on you’ll have to be an adult to get married. This will help end forced marriages for good.

Friday in UK Parliament means it’s Private Members Bill (PMB) day in the UK House of Commons.

After helping to spearhead the campaign to ban Virginity Tests in the UK, Richard Holden MP welcomes that an expert panel has reported today a recommendation that Hymenoplasty be banned as well - the second part of Richard's campaign.
